This season, we are grateful for Unified Work partnerships, who help us expand opportunity, build inclusive pathways, and strengthen the movement for employment equity. From innovative partners like Transfr and SweetRush to thought leadership support from CAREI, the University of Minnesota’s Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvements, and mission-aligned organizations like AbilityOne, and our many mission partners this year has shown the power of working together.

Employment equity takes partnership and we’re grateful for everyone who builds it with us.

Why Employer Partnerships Matter This Season

Employer partners remain at the center of Unified Work’s mission.
Every new role offered, every training session hosted, and every door opened comes from people who believe in talent and potential.

This season, we’re especially grateful for employers who:

  • Built more accessible, supportive workplaces
  • Connected with Unified Work to strengthen hiring pathways
  • Welcomed new talent with patience, encouragement, and understanding
  • Demonstrated that inclusion is a strength, not an exception

Their leadership continues to shape workplaces, and futures, across the region.

How Innovative Tools Strengthen Readiness and Confidence

To support employers and learners alike, Unified Work is committed to delivering tools that prepare jobseekers for real-world success. Through VR, dynamic e-learning, and aligned curriculum design, learners develop confidence and skills that help them thrive from day one.

Our Partnership With Transfr

Unified Work is grateful for our collaboration with Transfr, whose immersive VR tools help learners explore careers through realistic, hands-on experiences.

Transfr Trek: Empowering Exploration With 50+ Simulations

With Transfr Trek, learners can explore over 50 virtual job simulations, giving them a chance to:

  • Try out new industries
  • Practice workplace tasks step-by-step
  • Build muscle memory and comfort
  • Learn at their own pace in a safe environment

Immersive practice gives learners a chance to build confidence and comfort; key ingredients in helping talent step into new opportunities.

Our Partnership With SweetRush

This year, we’re also giving thanks for SweetRush, whose creativity and commitment to accessible learning is helping bring Unified Work’s new e-learning academy to life.

An Engaging, Story-Driven Academy

Designed like a TV show, this e-learning platform features:

  • Relatable characters
  • Episodic lessons
  • Lighthearted “commercial break” knowledge checks
  • Clear, accessible learning pathways

Learners build soft skills, communication skills, emotional regulation, and workplace expectations all in a format that feels welcoming, friendly, and fun.

Our Partnership with CAREI

Unified Work is also grateful for the guidance of the Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvement (CAREI) at the University of Minnesota.

CAREI partnered with us to create our curriculum map, helping to ensure our tools, skills pathways, and learning experiences align across VR, e-learning, and hands-on practice. They also support our growth as thought leaders in employment equity, helping us more clearly articulate how Unified Work’s model strengthens opportunity ecosystems.

Their insight helps us bring clarity, structure, and vision to this growing movement.

Our Partnership with AbilityOne

We are also thankful for organizations connected to the AbilityOne program. AbilityOne partners continue to demonstrate the power of accessible, well-supported roles, and we’re grateful for their leadership within this ecosystem.

Giving Thanks for Employers Who Build Inclusive Workplaces

This season, we’re especially grateful for employers who help create environments where people can learn, grow, and thrive. Organizations like MDI have shown what’s possible when workplaces are intentionally designed for inclusion, proving that accessibility, clarity, and belonging strengthen teams and open doors.

Their example helps raise expectations not only for jobseekers, but for the systems around them.

Gratitude That Moves Us Forward

This season, we’re giving thanks for every collaborator who makes Unified Work’s mission possible:

To Transfr and SweetRush, thank you for helping us innovate.
To CAREI, thank you for helping us align and grow.
To AbilityOne and its partners, thank you for championing federal opportunity.
To employers, thank you for believing in talent and opening doors.
To every mission partner, thank you for standing with us in this movement.

We are grateful today and energized for everything we’ll build together next.
